What liner for double swag shower curtain?

I just bought a double swag shower curtain which looks great. But I don't want to hang a second rod, and I don't understand how a standard liner is supposed to work when you use the tie-backs. Do I split the liner with a utility knife? I can't see that they make split special liners...
